Position Summary:
This position is a program management assignment overseeing
the design and post design of major limited access highway widening
projects. Project
manager will coordinate all activities of the assigned projects,
providing direction to the consultant design engineers regarding
design issues, conduct monthly progress meetings, monitor and update
project schedules,
review progress reports and consultant invoices, coordinate
the assigned projects with adjacent program projects and those of
other agencies and programs, work with the Turnpike Environmental
Consultant to ensure compliance with the Program permit conditions
and attend meetings with the NJTA, local governements and the public
during this assignement.
Position will work as part of a program management team that
consists of PBS;J in the Edison, NJ and Pennsylvaia offices and
two subconsultants.
In addition this position includes the following
responsibilities:
Identifies new business opportunities for the firm,
coordinates and participates in project presentations to clients and
other external groups, and promotes firm's capabilities, marketing
its services among existing and prospective
clients.
Participates in project opportunity evaluation, consultant
selection, and in the preparation of firm's qualification/experience
statements.
Supervises other project managers, technical professionals
and other design staff in multiple offices including managing weekly
project workload and manpower
forecasting.
Monitors and reports financial status of projects to program
managers and division managers.
