Freight Drivers must posses a valid CDL Class A or B drivers license with a HAZMAT endorsement in order to drive tractor-trailers or straight trucks with air brakes and hydraulic systems.Driver picks up preloaded truck at the Distribution Center and delivers to the customers business; physically unloads merchandise with manual equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, lift gates, etc., and scans the freight for that customer as the parts are placed in a designated, secured area. Driver must also load returned merchandise from customers location into trucks for return to the NAPA Distribution Center. Must occasionally push, pull, lift or move heavier items, such as engines, barrels of chemicals, truck rotors, etc., without assistance from anyone. The Driver must also be able to verify Bills of Lading and adhere to all safety rules, including the handling of hazardous materials.
